Notes: This story is, of course, pure, unabashed speculation, and draws heavily on ideas from some Trek Novels, while blithely ignoring others, when the information didn't fit or was too contradictory. Memory Alpha and Memory Beta were invalueable in the writing of this story. The funky remix subtitle is a nod to the Psi Corps of Babylon 5's universe. Because you just know that Chekov has an alternate universe doppelganger who is a pain in the ass psychic (and psychotic) intel chief.

The idea for this whole thing came from reading through sophia_sol's journal and seeing that a) she, like me, started this whole fandom thing in the SS/HG corner of Harry Potter fandom and b) she had some very interesting ideas about fairy tales in the Harry Potter universe.
